In order to get the wood, we have to cut the trees in the forest and it means that we kill a tree that has taked years and years to grow up and get to that age.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Do you know that in order to produce one ton paper out of wood, we must cut at least 15 trees? But we can produce one ton paper by recycling exactly one ton scrap paper and in this way avoid cutting 15 trees. Now consider it in the worldwide usage and the amount of trees that we can save if we recycle papers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Of course in addition to it, by recycling the papers we can reduce the consumption of energy to 0.25 (one fourth) of energy that we need to produce paper from wood.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Also the consumption of water decreases to 0.01 (one percent) of the water used for the paper produced from wood.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We know that papers have classifications and definitely some papers are good to be recycled and used again for good quality papers. It does not mean that other papers such as carton boards and pasteboards are not good for recycling but also they can be recycled to be used as artificial paper for fruit pockets etc.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Originally this book is in English and I have translated it into Persian (Parsi or Farsi).</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In this book, the author explains about paper and its appearance and then explains about different methods and standards of paper productions and superiority and deficiency of each method in comparison with each other.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It also explains that to produce different kind of paper what kind of trees should be used and the what the ingredients of paper producing process is?</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It offers all scientific calculations about the paper industries and logic of paper production.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">After describing all different type of papers and circumstance to produce them, it explains about recycling technologies and conditions to prepare all different type of papers.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I just wanted to have a short description of this book.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">If you like to have this book in English, its name is "Technology of Paper Recycling".</div><div style="text-align: justify;">For the visitors that are looking for this book in Persian, I suggest to visit our website at <u style="font-weight: bold;">http://www.VistaSPG.com</u> </div><div style="text-align: justify;">You can go directly to <u style="font-weight: bold;">Products</u> page of <b>Vista Sanat Persian Group</b>'s official website and then click on this book or by knowing the part number of this book go to <u style="font-weight: bold;">Order Online</u> page and order it.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">please do not hesitate to contact me at any moment that you need.</div>Shahram Vesalihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/04712118767642938817noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1118405466668084433.post-13805365384419205362011-01-11T20:07:00.001+03:302011-01-11T22:01:04.175+03:30Microprocessor of GT26CW Locomotives of Iran<div style="text-align: justify;"><b>One of my books</b>.<br />
Railways of Iran operates EMD (Electro Motive Devision) locomotives type GT26CW and GT26CW-2, G22 and some G12 locomotives as well as GE locomotives.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The huge percent of Iran railways Locomotives are GT26CW and due to the old technology the these locomotives posses, it was becoming harder to supply the spare parts. Therefore Iran railway had several option to go ahead and between those options, Iran Railway management decided to modify old and out of services locomotives by PLC system that we as a common mistake call it "microprocessor".</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The benefits to use microprocessor on locomotive are: </div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><ol><li>Up to date technology</li>
<li>Available spare parts</li>
<li>Better performance</li>
<li>Lower price rather than old system</li>
<li>Easy maintenance</li>
</ol>This new system replaces 11 module cards and several relays of GT26CW-2 locomotive and several parts and contactors and relays from GT26CW locomotives.<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">In addition to eliminating those parts, the maintenance cost of locomotive reduces in comparison with old type of locomotives. Of course it depends on quality of utilization.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Iran railway modified 62 locomotive by microprocessor system. I was involved in this project and had some responsibilities.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">when we did the first locomotive modification, employees of Iran railways showed a kind of resist against this new generation of locomotive because they had experienced very bad memory with Alstom locomotives which were made at 2002.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I had to teach locomotive drivers to how operate units as locomotive engineers, engineers of running shops to supervising the process of maintenance repairs and fault troubleshooting.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">also I had to work with the team of railway engineers to teach and train the railway technicians to repair locomotive as persons with hands on the job.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We proposed an offer to Iran railways about writing a book to be used as global reference for engineers and technicians and workers. Iran railway management accepted the proposal.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">i wrote this book which is a combination of microprocessor manufacturer manual and my experience during teaching and taking care of maintenance of these locomotives.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The name of this book is "Microprocessor of GT26CW Locomotives and Its Maintenance". </div><div style="text-align: justify;">This book is being used as a technical reference in Iran railways.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I had some several meetings to introduce this book to managers of Iran railways in other provinces than Tehran. Nowadays it is being used as reference for microprocessor repair on board and microprocessor parts repair manual (maintenance instruction)</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Some chapters of this book are;</div><div style="text-align: justify;"></div><ol><li>Microprocessor parts introduction</li>
<li>How to operate this system</li>
<li>How to maintenance system</li>

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">At 1996 after my professor advise about searching for a project and working on it to be useful for people, I searched about plastic and decided to concentrate on this issue.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Plastics are good replacement for wood, glass, ceramic and metal. In addition to cheap prices rather than other materials, also can be retrieved easily from recycled materials and also are very easy to shape for different uses.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Plastics are derived of petrol and their main base is ethylene (C2H4).</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Petroleum sources in the world are very limited and converting petroleum into plastic for human daily uses is not logic.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">On the other hand, Plastics cannot be disintegrated normally in the nature. Therefore the best way to prevent nature infect and also saving petroleum for next generations is the recycling.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">But plastics are divided in two different categories and surely method of recycling per each category will be different.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">As I told you please are divided into 2 categories: Thermoplast (Thermo Plast) and Thermoset (Thermo Set).</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Each category also has its sub-categories.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">As a short description for Thermoplast palstis would say thermoplasts are a kind of plastics that liquefy by getting heat and can get the shape of container when loses the heat. This type of plastic can be heated times and times and also can be grind and get reused in other applications.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">As a short description for Thermoset palstics would say thermoset plastics are a kind of plastics that cannot be reheated after the first heat up and getting shape. This category has very high rigidity and resistance against stresses, heat, chemical solvents and also have very high electrical resistance. </span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Every material has its own usage for example you cannot use polyester instead of poly acrylic. Each plastic material has its own characteristics and specification that makes it appropriate for an individual application.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Recycling Technology is applicable about the Thermoplast plastics and for Thermoset plastics different method must be used.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Waste plastics must be collected from home made plastics or industrial wastes. At any circumstances those plastics must be de-germ and other actions must be done on it util the waste plastics gets converted into granule. This produced granule can be used to re-produce plastic materials and products.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">In this book I have explained about plastics and each categories' subset plastics and each subset's usage.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">Then I have explained the method of reducing parasites and washing procedure, separation of different type of composites and producing granule.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">In one of the chapters of book, I have shown the design calculation of grinding machine of plastic.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">This book was published at 1999 and received approval of Department of Environment of Iran.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">I got the international reward for this action and at the same time certificate of invention.</span><br />
<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: inherit;">This book needs to be updated because since 1999 it has not been reviewed.</span><br />

Hello<br />
I will translate my published articles into English and will put in my blog.<br />
Of course it will take time to do it but I am serious in doing it.<br />
I have some athletic-scientific articles and 2 scientific articles that have been published in Iran. Those athletic-scientific articles have been published in Iranian magazines but those mechanics papers have been published at internal magazine of Takestan Azad University.<br />
I will give you short description of my books. Those books are also in Farsi (Persian) but if you are Persian and are interested in getting it, please do not hesitate to contact me at any moment.<br />
I eagerly look forward to get your feedback about the articles. It will help me in improving my knowledge.<br />
